Erwin Miyasaka: Sakurajima view from Sengan-en

The Japanese garden concept of borrowed scenery (shakkei) uses elements from the surrounding nature, such as a beautiful mountain, to improve the view offered by the garden. Among the most spectacular examples is the Sengan-en garden in Kagoshima, featuring the Sakurajima volcano in the background.
