Erwin Miyasaka: Kyoto Station Christmas Tree 2017

For the last 10 years, the Christmas tree displayed on the Muromachi Koji Square of the Kyoto Station had decorations inspired each year by one of the cities with which Kyoto is in a sister city alliance.

This year is different, because it is dedicated to a special anniversary, 20 years since the opening of Kyoto Station. On this occasion, the Christmas tree has the pedestal decorated with drawings made by young artists from Kyoto, on the theme of gratitude and future.
