Erwin Miyasaka: Fukuoka Tower, the tallest seaside tower in Japan
With a height of 234 meters, the Fukuoka Tower is the tallest seaside tower in Japan. Erected on reclaimed land out of Hakata Bay, it is a massive construction, built to resist, with the foundation weighting 7 times the weight of the tower.
Due to its shape, looking like a giant sail reflecting everything, the tower was nicknamed the Mirror Sail.
